Amidst the same, he shared that he did several projects just to earn money and nothing else. Manoj Pahwa reveals he did films for just money
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Manoj Pahwa was asked if he ever did a project for just money; the actor replied, "Kuch nahi… Bahut filmein ki hain. Bahut filmein sirf paison ke liye ki, kyunki ghar chalana bhi hota hai, sirf passion ke liye (Not just a few, I’ve done a lot of films.
I did many of them just for the money, because you have to run a household too, not just work for passion)."
The actor also shared that there were some movies he did for the location. He said that there was one person who would take him to London and Australia for a month. He shared that they would read the script at the locations and do preparations. And since he was being paid for all of that, he used to sign the movie.
He said, "Aur jaise maine kaha, aap actor ho, jab set par jaoge, role karoge, toh aapke andar itna built-in ho chuka hota hai ki aap be-imani nahi karoge. Aap given circumstances aur given script mein apna best hi doge (And as I said, you’re an actor—when you go on set and perform a role, it’s already built into you that you won’t be dishonest. In the given circumstances and with the given script, you will always give your best)."
He added, "But pehla decision yeh ho jaata tha—chalo bhai, ghoom ke aate hain."
