Kriti Kharbanda flags WhatsApp impersonator, calls it ‘a clear case of identity theft’
Kriti Kharbanda has alerted fans and followers about a case of identity theft after discovering that an unknown individual has been impersonating her on WhatsApp. The actor took to Instagram to share details of the incident and urged people to remain cautious.
Kriti posted a screenshot of the suspicious WhatsApp chat on her Instagram Stories and made it clear that the number did not belong to her. “Not ok. Not cool. Not my number. Pretending to be someone you're not is a clear case of identity theft. Be warned,” she wrote.
The shared screenshot showed the impersonator messaging someone while posing as the actor. When the recipient questioned the authenticity of the number and responded, “This is not her number,” the person allegedly replied, “I messaged from this baba,” further raising alarm.
On the work front, Kriti was last seen in the web series Rana Naidu 2 and is currently preparing for her upcoming film Risky Romeo.

Not an isolated case
