The motion poster of
Hrithik Roshan's much-awaited period drama 'Mohenjo Daro' is out and makes us all the more eager to have a look at the bigger picture. 'Mohenjo Daro' is a period love story of times before India came into existence, set much before the birth of Christ and Buddha, in the ancient Indus Valley civilisation around 2600 BC.
The motion poster drops subtle hints about the film via an ancient language and an ancient currency with faces of a horse, elephant, deer and other animals carved on it.
Ashutosh Gowarikar, the filmmaker behind period dramas 'Jodha Akbar', 'Lagaan' and 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' goes as back as 2600 BC for 'Mohenjo Daro'. The film revolves around Hrithik's character, who falls in love with his enemy's daughter played by
Pooja Hegde. Extensively shot on a huge budget with high-octane action scenes, 'Mohenjo Daro' is slated for release ahead of the Independence Day on August 12, 2016.
