Govinda brings back nostalgia with ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye’ performance at school event amid wife Sunita Ahuja's cheating allegations

Actor Govinda, who has largely stayed away from films in recent years, continues to stay connected with audiences through live appearances. The star recently attended a school’s annual day celebration in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, where videos of his performance quickly went viral. Fans were thrilled to see him recreate his iconic dance moves on ‘Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye’ from ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. He also surprised the audience by singing a Bhojpuri song on stage.

Govinda was invited to the Sangamm International School's annual event wearing a stylish black and white suit. Upon arriving, the crowd erupted with applause and cheers for him. Govinda began to perform an impromptu rendition of the song, 'Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha', which included him singing, 'Angna Mein Baba'. In addition, Govinda performed several of his iconic lines that he has used in films, which brought the audience to their feet for him and provided ample support for him on all of his social media accounts.




Later in the evening, Govinda attended another annual day celebration and once again won hearts. This time, he opted for a white suit and repeated his singing and dancing act on stage. He also lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion, making the event memorable for everyone present.

Govinda's son Yashvardhan Ahuja to make acting debut soon

On the professional front, Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja is all set to step into Bollywood. As per reports by Bollywood Hungama, he will make his debut as the lead actor in Sajid Khan’s upcoming horror film ‘Hundred’, opposite Nitanshi Goel. The report stated that production for 'Hundred' kicked off at Mumbai’s Film City on Friday, January 23, 2026. The production team intentionally selected this date to align the start of filming with the auspicious festival of Basant Panchmi. The film is being produced by Guilty By Association Media’s Amar Butala, in association with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms.

Sunita Ahuja reiterates cheating allegations against Govinda

Meanwhile, Govinda has also been making headlines for personal reasons. His wife Sunita Ahuja recently spoke about allegations of infidelity in an interview with Miss Malini. She said, “Mere bache bade ho gaye (My kids are grown up now). I have always said that they get disturbed. I always say that ye tumhari umar nahi hai (this is not the age for this). Lekin kya hai na, aajkal ki jo ladki aati hain struggle karne ke liye, they need a sugar daddy jo unka kharcha chalaye.” She further added, “Shakal do kaudi ka hai, heroine banna hai. Phir kya karte hain phasa lenge, blackmail karenge.”

Continuing her statement, Sunita remarked, “Aisi ladkiyan bahut aati hain, but tum thode hi bewkoof ho. You are 63. You have a nice family, a beautiful wife and two grown children. You can’t do all this at the age of 63. Tune jawani me kiya, it’s fine. Jawani me hum bhi galtiyan karte hain, but not at this age.”
