He is currently seen as Pathak in Farhan and Shaibani Akhtar’s latest show Dabba Cartel. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actor opened up on his earliest memory of carrying a dabba( tiffin) to his school. He shared, “ In my childhood, the tiffin box was just a box, there was no compartment in it. So my mother used to give me roti or paratha and she would also give me some vegetables which would be very oily. She would cook it at 6 AM and by the time it would 10 AM which would be our break it would it would have turned into khichdi ( laughs) He also shared that if he had to pack a tiffin for his wife Sanjana, he would pack panipuris for her. He stated, “ If there are four compartments of the tiffin, in all four compartments there will be Pani Puri. If she goes to the hospital she can also ask for a Pani Puri drip ( laughs) . If she is sick, then Pani Puri. If she is not sick, then Pani Puri. If she goes to London, then also Pani Puri, she would say ‘arre I’ve heard this place serves very good Pani Puri’, so Pani Puri!!!.
