A powerful story
Directed by
Tabrez Noorani, 'Love Sonia' was released in 2018 after going into production in 2016. Inspired by real-life events, the film follows Sonia’s journey as she tries to rescue her sister, Preeti, who was sold into international sex trafficking. The story takes a dark turn when Sonia herself gets trapped in the system.
Apart from Mrunal Thakur, the film also featured Riya Sisodiya, Freida Pinto, and Demi Moore in key roles.
