Director Aditya Dhar, through the eyes of his lead protagonist Hazma (Ranveer Singh), gives his audience a complete view of the violent gang wars and political nexus of Lyari, Pakistan. Then the climax marks the completion of the first phase of Hazma’s mission, where he eliminates the syndicate kingpin Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna). In this first phase, SP Chaudhary Aslam (Sanjay Dutt) and local politician Jameel Jamali (Rakesh Bedi) work as his reliable aids.It is worth noting that the movie has a long run time, and thus the makers have structured the plot in chapters. The flashback - All about the beginning and the real name of Ranveer Singh’s character
From there, the story goes into a flashback set in 2002. It shows the beginning of the whole mission, titled ‘Dhurandhar’, laid out by Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan). This is the part where Ranveer’s character’s real name, Jaskirat, is revealed. In the post-credits, Hamza wakes up in the middle of the night and opens a secret diary. This diary was given to him by another Indian operative. Hazma now wipes off Rehman’s name, as that chapter ended. What grabs attention, that he turns the next page, which reveals more names, including ISI’s Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal). A fast montage follows, featuring flashes of a young Jaskirat and the brutal violence faced by his family. It then shows his rise in Lyari’s underworld, and Karachi’s people hailing him as the new leader with Jameel’s support.‘Dhurandhar’ Part 2 release date
