Bollywood power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, have been soaking in the festive spirit in New York City, and fans couldn't quite believe their eyes when the two turned up at an NBA match.

Twinning in shades of black and white, the stars took their courtside seats at a recent NBA basketball game. While in their seats, the couple were approached by fans for photos, which they happily obliged and posed for selfies. Pictures and videos from the match, doing the rounds on social media, show Deepika and Ranveer in great spirits as they enjoyed their game date. Among the videos doing the rounds online, one clip saw Ranveer explaining the game to Deepika, who leaned in and listened attentively.

For the casual day out, Deepika turned heads in an oversized leather jacket paired with a white T-shirt and classic blue jeans. Ranveer, on the other hand, twinned with his wife in a black coat layered over a white tee and baggy trousers. He topped the look off with a beanie and sunglasses.

The courtside sighting comes days after the couple rang in 2026 together at a local pub with their families. Photos doing the rounds online saw the couple sharing a passionate kiss at the stroke of midnight, before going on to hug and celebrate with their families.

The holiday also follows Ranveer's phenomenal box-office run with 'Dhurandhar', which emerged as the only film of 2025 to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide. The film is now on track to cross the Rs 1,200 crore, placing it among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.

'Dhurandhar Part 2' is now gearing up for release on March 19, 2026. With the current buzz around the film, reports state that the sequel could make Ranveer the fastest Bollywood star to deliver two Rs 1,000 crore films, beating the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas.
