Amitabh Bachchan writes on life's journey, says 'Everything becomes still pictures eventually'
Amitabh Bachchan shared a late-night blog post where he quietly shared a take on life, saying that in the end, everything turns into memories, like still pictures. This note came soon after the passing of his close friend and veteran actor Dharmendra.
Earlier on the morning of Tuesday, he also shared one of the pictures on X (formerly Twitter). With a picture from the KBC set he wrote in Hindi, which loosely translates to English, "T 5583 - Life keeps running on; we keep trying to run."
Just days ago, Big B wrote an emotional post as a tribute to Dharmendra, describing him as "another valiant Giant." He also talked about his towering screen presence and the simplicity he had in his heart. He added, "the epitome of greatness, ever linked not only for his renowned physical presence, but for the largeness of his heart, and its most endearing simplicity."
The Shenshah of Bollywood also recalled Dharmendra's roots, as he wrote that he carried with him "the earthiness of the village in Punjab he came from, and remained true to its temperament… unsoiled throughout his glorious career."
Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra have worked on some of the most iconic Bollywood films, from 'Sholay', 'Chupke Chupke' to 'Ram Balram', 'Naseeb', 'The Burning Train' and more.
