According to Variety, while the makers are keeping the storyline tightly under wraps, reports reveal the film draws inspiration from real-life incidents. Both actors are expected to step into roles vastly different from their previous performances, adding intrigue to the project. The film is scheduled to go on floors in mid-April, with an elaborate shooting plan spanning multiple locations. Abundantia Entertainment, helmed by Vikram Malhotra, is bankrolling the project.
