This year, Uttarayan was extra special for me: Mehr Mahajan

After carefully choosing their kites from various patang bazaars, especially those in the walled city which have people spoilt for choice, kite-flying enthusiasts in Gujarat set their eyes on the sky during Uttarayan. While for some it is about get togethers and lots of food and masti, for some it is about inviting their best friends and having a blast. For Gujarati actress Mehr Mahajan, this Uttarayan turned out to be extra special as she celebrated it in her new house with her friends. She says, "I am more of an observer when it comes to Uttarayan. I find collecting the kites that land on the terrace more fun than actually flying them. This year, it was extra special for me as I celebrated Uttarayan in my new house with all my friends with me."
