Shruhad refused the role many times

Shruhad Goswami made a big revelation during the interaction. He said that when he first came to know he had to play Lord Krishna, he refused the role. He said, "When Ankit first told me about playing Krishna, I said no. Not once, but many times. I told him, ‘Please find someone else. I don’t think I can do justice to this role."Shruhad explained, “Other characters feel personal. But Krishna is universal. Everyone already has their own image of Krishna in their mind.
I felt I could never make the role my own.”

The director had only one name in mind

Director Ankit Sakhiya then shared his side. He told Shruhad clearly that he was the only choice. Ankit said he believed Shruhad could do it. The 'Laalo' director said, “From the first day, I knew Shruhad was Krishna for me. I never had another face in my mind. I told him clearly, ‘You are the right person. There is no second option."The director’s strong belief finally convinced Shruhad. That is how the role of Lord Krishna came to him.
