AD Singh, Ramola host a do
Restaurateurs AD Singh and Ramola Bachchan recently hosted a party for their close friends in the city.
With the Commonwealth Gamesaround the corner, the party didn’t last for long. Said one of the guests, who wished to remain anonymous, “From now onwards all outdoor partieswill have to wrap up by 11pm till the games end. It’s very unfortunate! That’s one of the reasons why many people have decided to travel out ofDelhi during the games.”Model-turned-artist Anjanna Kuthiala told us about her fashion designing days.“Well, not many know that I was a fashion designer before becoming anartist. It was during my modelling days that I developed the passion fordesigning my own clothes. In fact, I had also opened a small boutique in Shimla.Today we see so many designer outlets, but in those days we would rarely spot adesigner store,” shesaid. AD Singhmeanwhile, was heard mourning the strict party regulations that have been putin place because of the games. “We have just received an order from thepolice that our nightclub, LAP, which is located in one of the hotels of thecity, will have to close entry to the general public as many officials of thegames are staying in the same hotel. Entry will only be allowed tothe games delegates. This will be a huge loss for us in terms ofbusiness,” said he. Well, AD, we guess all partyhoppers will be giving youcompany when it comes to losses (not necessarily monetary, though)!
