Mahurat of upcoming Odia film, Mama weds Papa, was held in a city temple recently. The movie that’s set to be directed by Apu Kanungo has a new pair of actors playing the lead roles.
Mahurat of upcoming Odia film, Mama weds Papa, was held in a city temple recently. The movie that’s set to be directed by Apu Kanungo has a new pair of actors playing the lead roles.
Actor Ankit is the male lead while debutant Manaswini Pati is the female protagonist in this film. Veteran actors Papu Pam Pam and Puspa Panda are also playing vital roles in this romantic flick.
Along with direction, Apu Kanungo has also penned the story and screenplay for this movie. Chinmaya Das Pattnayak has written dialogues and Asad Nizam direct music for this film.
All the cast and crew members of the film were present at the mahurat event to seek blessings for the film. The first shot was also taken there inside the temple.

“In any normal marriage, we all know that parents shower their blessings or seek blessings for their kids from others. But here, Muni, a small kid prints the marriage card for her parents. This is a different kind of love story where a kid plays the vital role in bringing her parents together,” said the director.
