Furthermore, she shed light on the marginalised community, citing that the world is full of criticism, discrimination, and negativity. “So to get to be part of something that can bring light, make you smile, make you dance, and make you feel like the world is your f***ing oyster. I’m so grateful to do that,” she added in the speech, according to Deadline.

Moreover, during her ‘Tears’ performance, Trans people and Drag Queens joined the pop star on the stage, dancing along her beats. As the performance concluded, the dancers took out their placards and displayed them in front of the crowd. Thanking her queens, the signs said, ‘In trans we trust,’ ‘Support drag,’ ‘Dolls, dolls, dolls,’ ‘Love each other,’ ‘If you hate, you’ll never get laid,’ ‘Protect trans rights,’ and many more.

Elsewhere in the speech, Sabrina Carpenter jested at her previous albums. Expressing her gratitude, the singer mentioned that she doesn’t take the listeners and their time for granted. "If I’m lucky enough that that is my album, I am so grateful, whether that be Short n’ Sweet or whether that be Man’s Best Friend, my new album, or whether it be one of my 29 [albums] before that," she said in the speech, adding that she’s the luckiest girl in the world.
