The above mentioned outlet reported that then Trudeau showed up at her concert, and after that, they kept in touch, even while Katy’s Lifetimes Tour took her around the world. By October, things were different. They were spotted together in Paris, and not long after, the relationship went Instagram official.

Katy’s tour wrapped up in December, after nearly a hundred shows. Even while she was traveling, Trudeau made the effort to see her whenever possible. “He really showed he cared, right from the start,” reported the publication. “They’ve already handled plenty of complications, and the fact that they’re still willing to keep trying says a lot about how serious they are.”

Katy hasn’t hidden her happiness, either. She’s posted photos of the two of them: that selfie where she’s pulling a silly face, or the one where Trudeau’s at the table, wearing a pipe cleaner headband his kids made.
