Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande land first Grammy for ‘Defying Gravity’ in best duo category

While fans had wondered about ‘Wicked: For Good’ duo Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s miss at the Oscars this year, their Grammy is making up for everything. Cheers rolled out in large numbers as the beloved duo landed a major win at the 2026 Grammys. They ended up scoring the Best Pop Vocal Duo Grammy for one of their songs from the ‘Wicked’ film franchise.Ariana Grande and Cynthia Ervio who played the great roles in the ‘Wicked’ franchise, just won their first-ever Grammy for the song, ‘Defying Gravity.’ Fans had been wondering why the duo was snubbed at the Oscars; however, the Grammy Award has sent everyone into a frenzy.
