‘Wonder Woman 1854’ was another one of
Zack Snyder’s big projects in the DC Superhero Universe timeline. The director and the film recently made headlines again after he shared a never-before-seen BTS shot from the sets of the film, specifically relating to a story that never made the final film’s cut.
Zack Snyder posts old shit from ‘Wonder Woman 1854’
Taking to his social media recently, Snyder shared a snap from the sets of ‘Wonder Woman 1854’, directly referring to a story that never made the final cut, however, was still considered during the creation process.
The photo, which was posted in black and white, showed a couple of men wearing what seemed to be fighting gear. All seemingly from different cultures were seen in the photo standing together. In the caption, he explained how he shot the photo and that it was from the sets of the ‘Wonder Woman’ film.
His caption read, “Shot this on my Leica Monochrom during the Wonder Woman Crimea shoot—an original story unfolding through the lens. And these were her soldiers.” Many fans commented about how the photo was related to an unexplored storyline.
Snyder had posted another similar photo back in 2021 on another one of his accounts. In the photo, Gal Gadot, who played the role of Wonder Woman, aka Diana, was seen standing in the middle of a desert. She was surrounded by multiple warriors from different faiths and backgrounds, including a Native American warrior, a Japanese soldier as well as a Sikh warrior with a turban, who was also featured in the director’s latest photo.
Fan reactions to the photos
As soon as the director shared the latest black and white photo online, fans and netizens alike started a debate about Gadot’s film and how there needs to be more ‘Justice League’ films. One person’s comment under the official post read, “Imagine how much better the world would be if Warner had decided to make THIS movie instead of bringing down the DCEU with WW84.”
Another person shared and talked about how and why this scene never properly made it into the film. They commented about how they would have loved to see warriors of different cultures in the film, and that this storyline should have been explored.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
