While talking about her life and career as an actress, Sarah Jessica Parker recalled how it has been working in movies for such a long time. She revealed during the interview that “I’ve done a lot of movies that feel like they’re part of me learning and making attempts at being better and keeping up with people around me who I thought were spectacular artists and craftspeople in lots of ways.”Further adding to this, she shared that through working with Steve Martin, she was able to grasp the concept of physical comedy, while Bette Midler taught her how to be “wonderfully ridiculous” on the big screen.

She revealed that in the future, she is on the lookout for roles that are more challenging and new to her. She believes that while reprising roles is a lucrative business, it is not something that she wants to be defined by. “It’s easiest to do what is most familiar; it’s often the most lucrative thing to do that. But it’s more and more the case, the thing that’s the least satisfying and certainly asks not enough of me,” she further explained her reasoning. Adding to this, the ‘Hocus Pocus’ actress further shared that she wants to feel terrified about a role, to feel as if she will not be able to do it, and to feel as if she will get fired from the role.Even though her opinion on reprising roles is concrete, her stint as Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex and the City’ is something that will forever remain close to her heart.
