Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have reportedly taken the step in their relationship - introducing their children to one another.
The star couple, who is reportedly set to celebrate a year since they first went public with their romance, are reportedly trying to 'blend' their families. According to a source quoted by Us Weekly, Perry recently introduced her five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, to Trudeau's three children. As per the report, the couple are prioritising their families throughout the process.
“They both feel it’s important to blend their families thoughtfully and at a comfortable pace,” the source told the publication.
Perry shares Daisy with former fiance Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau is father to sons Xavier, Hadrien and daughter Ella-Grace, whom he shares with his estranged wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. The decision to blend their families come ahead of their first anniversary as a couple and just as the duo reportedly get more 'serious' in the romance.
“They are very serious,” the insider said, adding that their “relationship has deepened over the past several months.”
As per the report, while Katy and Justin are on a high, the singer reportedly did not anticipate entering a new relationship within months of ending her nearly decade-long romance with Orlando Bloom in 2025. However, Trudeau reportedly changed those expectations.
Reports of the couple's growing closeness, comes after Page Six reports stated that Trudeau “is crazy” about Perry and “thinks she is the perfect woman.” The pair, who is currently in a long disance romance, are rumoured to be building a home together in Justin's swanky new USD 3.1 million home. The space is reportedly large enough for the couple and their kids.
Perry welcomed daughter Daisy with fiance Orlando in 2020. Following the split, the two continue to co-parent their daughter. Meanwhile, Trudeau has also been co-parenting their three kids following his separation from Sophie in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. Although separated, the couple have not publicly finalised a divorce.
