Jennifer and Ashley Tisdale to produce Joanna Quraishi comedy

Sisters Jennifer and Ashley Tisdale are set to executive produce a hybrid comedy in development. Reportedly, written by Joanna Quraishi, the untitled project would follow a millennial woman who sets off to get to know the Middle-Eastern culture and the family of her father. The Tisdales will executive produce through their Blondie Girl Productions. Blondie Girl will produce in association with Warner Bros Television. Quraishi most recently wrote 'Kevin Can Wait.' Her other writing credits include 'Part Timers,' 'Weird Loners,' and 'Swamp Talk with Shrek & Donkey.'
