She received Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations earlier this year for her turn as Stephen Hawking's spouse in "The Theory of Everything", reported the New York Post.READ: Felicity Jones joins 'Star Wars' stand-alone movie"I feel like 'wife' or 'girlfriend' has this terrible reputation (as roles for women), but I think she absolutely has to be just as interesting as the male character, she has to be a vital person," Jones, 31, said."Even if you're doing a supporting role and you're not on-screen all the time, I think it's important (the audience) feels that person has a life beyond the screen," she said. In her next film, "True Story", out April 17, she plays another spouse with a challenging partner. The film is indeed based on a true story about journalist Mike Finkel (Jonah Hill), who struck up an unlikely friendship with convicted murderer Christian Longo (James Franco).
