Eric Dane’s daughter, Georgia, celebrates middle school graduation; Rebecca Gayheart posts, ‘I am so beyond proud’

4 months after the news broke that the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Eric Dane had passed away because of ALS, his daughter Georgia Geraldine Dane ended up graduating from her middle school. Taking to her social media, the actor’s partner, Rebecca Gayheart, shared a congratulatory post announcing everything, while also remembering the ‘Euphoria’ actor.Taking to her social media accounts recently, Gayheart shared a post about how Georgia passed her middle school with flying colours, even after an extremely hard year. She shared a photo of her daughter on stage, accepting a sunflower from a school official to mark her graduation, pointing out that she had an “incredibly difficult year”; however, she still managed to persevere.The caption further read, "Congratulations, Georgia !!! You have graduated middle school and survived an incredibly difficult year. I am so beyond proud of you—your tenacity, grit, and grace has been on full display. Welcome to high school—I have no doubt you're ready. I am so excited for you! Not pictured is your MVP trophy for beach volleyball. Bravo, congratulations, and I love you so much (pink heart emoji).”In the comment section, fans, netizens, and even friends and co-workers of Dane posted their congratulations to Georgia. Ellen Pompeo, who stars as the lead of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and was a close friend of the late actor wrote, “Congratulations Georgia!!! Well Done.. your mamas words are perfect!!!”, while Robin Tunney, who is known for ‘The Craft’ and ‘The Mentalist’, also shared, “Congratulations Georgia! (four heart emojis.)”Actress Alice Evans, who had memorable roles in ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Lost’, and ‘Blackball’ to name a few, also shared a sweet message in the comment section for Georgia. A year later, Georgia was born. Throughout the years, the two of them went through a lot of rough patches, and somewhere around 2014, they also filed for divorce. However, the filing never came to fruition, and Gayheart had the plea dismissed last year.Eric Dane passed away in February this year after fighting a battle with ALS, with which he had been diagnosed some time back.
