Director Abhigyan Mukherjee has unveiled the first look of Anumaner Bhittite, a family drama inspired by writer Arka Jyoti Mitra’s 10th book of the same name. Exploring themes of self-independence, identity, and emotional freedom, the film interweaves the lives of three women navigating personal battles and relationships across generations.The film features an ensemble cast including Lily Chakraborty, Alokananda Roy, Sreelekha Mitra, Amrita Chattopadhyay, Rohaan Bhattacharjee and theatre actor Devdutta Ghosh in pivotal roles.

Speaking about the project, Mukherjee described the film as a relatable and emotional family drama that reflects the ongoing struggle for autonomy in modern society. Back in the Kolkata film industry after an eight-year gap, the director shared that he hopes to create something “grand and unique, yet deeply relatable” for audiences.
