Plot Summary

Talk about magic, and Brooklyn call girl-turned-stylist Isabella has an interesting tale to narrate about the man who taught her to follow her dreams. An aspiring actress, in her younger days Izzy would work as escort to earn her living and contribute to the family finances. Her boss Vicky puts her through a client named Arnold, who was pleasantly romantic took her out on a long date and gave her a pretty memorable night. He had a line to quote which changed Izzy's perspective towards life, which went, "Some people like to feed nuts to the squirrels but if someone wants to feed squirrels to the nuts who am I to say nuts to the squirrels...." After that life-changing night Arnold offers Izzy 30,000 USD and inspires her to go pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She signs up for acting classes and her first assignment is for the role of an escort.

Izzy also signs up with a shrink who feels that she needs to be more in sync with her softer side. That's when Izzy takes up the name of Isabella and embarks on her new life. Interestingly, she lands up at an audition for a Broadway play taht is being directed by Arnold and stars his wife Delta. Izzy prefers to ignore the fact that she knows him and gives a great performance, luring over Delta. The play's lead actor,Seth, is a heartthrob of sorts and shares a romantic history with Delta. He had seen Izzy leave Arnold's room in the morning after the night they spent together. Arnold, who is both lecherous and romantic. And it turns out that he follows the same pattern for every woman - shows an escort a good time and then monetarily helps her get independent, which is both heartening and silly. Arnold,wary at the possibility of Delta and Izzy together, gets queasy. Delta, however, mesmerized with her performances convinces that Arnold should get her on board.

Simultaneously, a judge who knew Izzy from her escort days has got a private detective behind her. The detective's son is in the playw ith izzya nd has a crush on her. Inorder to save him, he reveals Izzy's past to him.

Arnold and Delta go shopping with each other where Arnold meets another former escort he has helped get out of the profession. She, ecstatic to see him, shrieks with joy. And hence, Delta finds out about Arnold's other life and how he uses his nuts-and-squirrels line to win over women.

The same night Arnold meets Izzy at the same hotel they spent the night together. Seth is in the room opposite his and when Delta comes over to meet him, she finds a hooker in his bathroom. Delta immediately calls Arnold and she ends up discovering Izzy in his bathroom.

She, nevertheless, ends up at the play rehearsal next day. And after a lot of commotion including ex-lovers, shrinks, Izzy's parents and dogs, it all ends on a good note. Delta and Arnold get together. Seth and Izzy's shrink get together. And Izzy goes on to become an actress. But is it all for real? Or a story for the interviewer and her audience to buy?
