Lok Sabha polls: No privileges as Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s car searched
HASSAN:
The CM was sitting in the front seat when his vehicle was flagged down by police, who saluted the CM before conducting a search of the Range Rover. Kumaraswamy was heading to Shravanabelagola MLA CN Balakrishna’s home when the vehicle was stopped for the search.
Speaking in Hassan, Kumaraswamy accused the Centre of creating a scarcity of helicopters and deliberately preventing Congress and JD(S) leaders from reaching out to people. “The BJP government at the Centre has created a scarcity of helicopters so we cannot reach out to people in the state,” Kumaraswamy alleged. “They have issued directions in this regard. It is a pity that such low-level politics is being played out in the state.”
