election inGujarat
, national security and development remained the prime focus for BJP party president Amit Shah. Shah, who took out a 2km long roadshow at the auto-hub of Sanand - is often seen as a champion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development model. He also spoke about how national security was a key agenda for elections during his meeting with chairmen of various housing societies. In a meeting with 800-odd housing society chairpersons, Shah said that in the previous governments national security was part of the foreign policy, but in the last five years this has changed. “Shah said that the surgical strike after Pulwama changed things and today national security is the country’s top priority,” said a society office bearer who attended a meeting with Shah.
In the roadshow at Sanand Shah chose to walk with the people instead of travelling by jeep as earlier planned. The roadshow began from APMC Sanand and continued till the Bavla crossroads.
