Thiruvananthapuram: The BJP , eyeing its first-ever win in the state assembly , will be deploying a team of central ministers led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party's national president Amit Shah to campaign in Kerala.
Modi will address NDA 's election rallies on May 6, 8 and 11, while Shah, expected here on Sunday , will be in the state till the public campaign ends on May 14, BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan told a news conference jointly attended by Thushar Vellappally of the BDJS and Kerala Congress leader P C Thomas.

As many as 10 central ministers, including Modi, would be touring the state, which so far, had not favoured the BJP in assembly or Lok Sabha polls.
Besides addressing a poll meeting in Palakkad on May 6, the prime minister would also attend three others rallies in Ernakulam, Alappuzha and Kasaragod on May 11.
On May 8, he would attend a rally in the state capital. During his stay here, Modi would also be travelling to Tamil Nadu.
Shah would address five rallies, besides overseeing the campaign.
Union home minister Rajnath Singh would be in the state on May 6 and 7, while the minister for urban development, M Venkaiah Naidu, would attend two programmes. Human resources minister Smriti Irani would attend one rally , while D V Sadananda Gowda would be camping here for nine days till May 11.
Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitely , Nirmala Sitharaman, Manohar Parrikar and Pon Radhakrishnan would also attend election related programmes, which would soon be finalized, Kummanam said.
Jaitely would release NDA's vision document for the state in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday . The document would promise a corruption free and progressive rule, if NDA was voted to power.
