SSC JE, CHSL Tier-II 2026: Exam city slip, admit card release dates announced; check full schedule
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued multiple important updates for candidates appearing in the Junior Engineer (JE) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examinations 2025–26. Along with announcing the exam city intimation and admit card release schedule for JE Paper-II and CHSL Tier-II, the commission has also released the final answer keys and marks for JE Paper-I.
These updates are for candidates preparing for the next stage, as well as those who appeared in the earlier phase. The JE Paper-II exam will be conducted on April 7, 2026, and CHSL Tier-II on April 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to download all relevant documents within the stipulated timelines to avoid last-minute issues.
SSC has also released the detailed schedule for exam city slips and admit cards for JE Paper-II and CHSL Tier-II. The JE Paper-II exam will be held on April 7, 2026, with the city slip going live on March 27 and admit card on April 4, 2026. Meanwhile, the CHSL Tier-II exam is scheduled for April 10, 2026, with the city slip releasing on April 1 and admit card on April 7, 2026.
Candidates can check their allotted exam city and download their admission certificates by logging into the official SSC portal. The city slip is meant only for advance information and will not be accepted as an entry document at the exam centre.

SSC has uploaded the final answer keys along with question papers and response sheets for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination 2025 (Paper-I). The result for this stage was declared earlier on March 6, 2026. Candidates can now access their response sheets and scorecards by logging in using their roll number and password on the official website.
This facility is available from March 23, 2026 (6:00 PM) to April 6, 2026 (6:00 PM). Both qualified and non-qualified candidates can check their marks during this period. The commission has clearly stated that candidates should download and take a printout of their final answer keys and scorecards, as these will not be available after the deadline and no requests will be entertained later.

The commission has also issued important instructions regarding the ‘own scribe’ facility. Candidates opting for this facility must complete fresh scribe registration, as earlier registrations done before November 5, 2025, have been cancelled. The new registration process is now linked with Aadhaar authentication, making it mandatory for scribes to register again on the SSC website.
Candidates must map their scribe’s registration number within the given deadlines—April 3, 2026 (11 PM) for JE Paper-II and April 5, 2026 (11 PM) for CHSL Tier-II. The scribe entry pass will only be generated after successful mapping. SSC has also clarified that the permissible age limit for scribes will follow the updated policy, while other guidelines remain unchanged.
