Candidates who appeared in the exam can access their scorecards on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT, using their Application Number and Date of Birth. The multi-stage selection process included written tests, hands-on assessments, and personal interviews.
The selection process for the NIFT 2025 admissions involved two stages. The Stage 1 examinations — which included the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT), were conducted on February 9, 2025, across 91 test centres in 81 Indian cities. These exams were held for various courses, including B.Des., M.Des., M.F.M., M.F.Tech., and Lateral Entry to B.Des. and B.F.Tech. programmes.
Based on the performance in GAT and CAT, candidates were shortlisted in a 1:4 seat-to-candidate ratio across all categories. The Stage 1 results were declared earlier on April 24, 2025.
Stage 2 included interviews, practical assessments
For the postgraduate programmes, M.Des., M.F.M., and M.F.Tech, personal interviews were held in New Delhi from May 26 to June 3, 2025. Meanwhile, Stage 2 for undergraduate applicants included hands-on tests and interviews, conducted on June 8, 2025.
With the conclusion of both phases, NTA has now issued the final merit lists and individual scorecards.
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to download the NIFTEE 2025 scorecards from the official website:
