NCERT recruitment 2026: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will close the registration process for NCERT recruitment 2026 today, March 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Interested candidates who have not yet applied still have time to complete the online application process through the official website ncert.nic.in.
The council had earlier issued Advertisement No. 177/2026 to fill a total of 117 academic vacancies across its campuses. The recruitment drive includes teaching positions as well as library posts.
According to the official notification, applications must be submitted only through the online portal. Forms sent through any other mode will not be accepted.
The eligibility requirements, age limits, and service conditions will follow the latest regulations of the University Grants Commission (UGC), along with the rules of the Government of India and NCERT.
