KCET 2026: Fee payment deadline extended to March 7, correction window open till March 30
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the application fee payment deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 to March 7, 2026. Candidates who have already submitted the application form but have not yet paid the fee can complete the payment through the official portal, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The KCET exam is conducted for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate professional courses such as engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and veterinary sciences in colleges across Karnataka. According to the latest update, the extension applies only to candidates who completed the registration process before the application window closed. No new applications will be accepted. Candidates who fail to pay the application fee by the revised deadline will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.
KEA had earlier set March 3, 2026 as the last date for payment of the KCET application fee. The authority has now given students additional time until March 7, 2026 to complete the process.
This extension is for those candidates who have successfully filled and submitted their application forms before the registration window closed in February. Students are required to log in to the official KCET website using their credentials and pay the fees using the available online modes.
The examination authority has clearly mentioned that the candidates who do not pay the fees within the extended deadline will not be treated as registered for the entrance exam. Their applications will remain incomplete.
Along with the extension of the fee payment, the KEA has also opened the application correction window for the registered students. This facility will help the students view their application form and make the necessary changes.
The students can also make changes to the information provided in the form, such as their details, academic details, etc. The application correction window is available until March 30, 2026.
Students are advised to carefully check all the information in their application form. Any incorrect information may create problems during admit card download or the counselling process later.
The KCET 2026 examination will be conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode at various centres across Karnataka. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on April 23 and April 24, 2026.
The admit card for the KCET 2026 is likely to be available in April 2026, a few weeks prior to the commencement of the test. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for the test from the official website using their application number and other necessary details.
Candidates should visit the official website regularly for updates on the admit card, test guidelines, and further admission procedures.
