JEE Main city intimation slip 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the city intimation slips for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 examination. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held from January 21, 2026. The exam will be held for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2A and 2B (BArch and BPlanning).
The examination is scheduled for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2A and 2B (B Arch and BPlanning). After the release, candidates can verify it on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The city intimation slip is given to candidates to inform them about the city in which their exam centre will be. It specifically states that the centre address will not be mentioned.
The slip helps students plan travel and stay arrangements in advance. Candidates must note that it is not a substitute for the admit card.
The JEE Main 2026 admit cards are going to be released three to four days prior to the examination date. As soon as the admit card is available, candidates should definitely download it from the official website.
The result for the January session of JEE Main 2026 will be declared on February 12. The score will be used for admission to engineering and architecture programmes and for eligibility to appear in JEE Advanced.
During the application process, candidates were allowed to choose up to four preferred exam cities. These choices were based on their present and permanent addresses.
