The Indian Army registration process is in progress through the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Interested candidates can register online through the official portal joinindianarmy.nic.in, as the process aims to fill 25,000 vacancies in various positions. The registration process began on 13th February and will continue until 1st April 2026.

The selected candidates will receive a structured pay scale of Rs 30,000 per month, which will increase to Rs 40,000 in the fourth year. After contributing 30% of their salary to the Agniveer Corpus Fund, the candidates can receive between Rs 21,000 and Rs 28,000 every month.

The recruitment drive is for various positions, such as General Duty (GD), Technical, Clerk/Storekeeper Technical, Tradesman, Soldier Pharma, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, and Women Military Police. The selection process is divided into three stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT), recruitment rally, and document verification.

Indian Army Agniveer recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria

The Agniveer recruitment is for various positions with varying educational qualifications. The qualifications range from passing the 8th standard to graduation. The age limit has been relaxed by one year. The age limit for the recruitment is as follows:

• GD, Technical, Clerk/Storekeeper, Tradesman: 17½-22 years (born between 1 July 2005 and 1 July 2009)
• Soldier Technical (NA/NA Vet): 17½-23 years
• Sepoy Pharma: 19-25 years

The physical standards for the recruitment are:

• Minimum height: 170 cm
• Chest: 77 cm unexpanded with an expansion of 5 cm
