The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the provisional answer key for the HSC Science stream examinations conducted in February/March 2026. The answer keys cover major subjects including Mathematics (050), Chemistry (052), Physics (054), and Biology (056), and are available for Question Paper Set numbers 1 to 20.
Students from Gujarati, Hindi, and English mediums can access the answer keys on the official website — gseb.org. The board has also opened the objection window, allowing candidates to challenge discrepancies in the answer key within a specified timeframe. Candidates are advised to carefully verify their responses and submit objections, if any, in the prescribed format before the deadline, as no representations will be entertained after the closing date.
The candidates who wish to raise objections against the provisional answer key can do so in the prescribed format, which can be downloaded from the official website. The board has clearly stated that objections must be raised separately for each subject, medium, and question.
All representations must be submitted only via email at gshsebsciencekey@gmail.com. Submissions through any other mode will not be accepted under any circumstances. The last date to submit objections is April 4, 2026, by 6:00 PM.

GSEB has set a fee of ₹500 per question for raising objections. The payment must be made through an SBI Bank challan, the format of which is available on the board’s website. Candidates are required to attach a copy of the paid challan along with their email submission.
The board has clearly stated that objections submitted without the challan or fee payment will not be considered. Additionally, submissions sent after the deadline will be rejected without review.
As per the board, if the objection is found to be genuine after reviewing the answer key for a particular question, the fee for that particular question will be refunded. This will ensure that only genuine discrepancies are being raised while maintaining transparency in the process of evaluation.
The students are advised to peruse the provisional answer key carefully and also complete the objection process within the stipulated time frame.
