GATE answer key 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the provisional answer keys and response sheets for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The GATE 2026 computer-based test (CBT) was conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 across the country for 30 subjects. The examination featured a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions, demanding both precision and conceptual clarity. Now, with the provisional keys out, candidates can measure their performance with cold arithmetic.

With the provisional key and response sheet in hand, candidates can now calculate their estimated scores. For most papers, including AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ME, and others that include Engineering Mathematics, the total marks are 100. The structure is:
