GATE 2026 final answer key released at goaps.iitg.ac.in; results on March 19: Direct link to download here
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the final answer key for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the national-level engineering entrance examination can now access the subject-wise final answer keys through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal.
The final answer key has been issued for all 30 test papers conducted this year. It has been published after the institute reviewed objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key released earlier. The revised key incorporates corrections accepted by the exam authorities following the challenge process.
Candidates can use the final answer key to verify their responses and estimate their likely scores before the official results are declared.
The GATE 2026 results are expected to be announced on March 19, 2026, on the official website. Once released, candidates will be able to check their results and download their GATE scorecards through the GOAPS portal.
GATE scores are widely used for admission to postgraduate programmes such as MTech, ME, and PhD in institutions including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating universities. In addition, several public sector undertakings (PSUs) use GATE scores for recruitment to engineering and technical roles.
