EIL Management Trainee recruitment 2026: Application to begin March 20 onwards through GATE scores

Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has announced recruitment for Management Trainee (MT) positions through GATE 2026, offering opportunities to engineering graduates across key core disciplines.

The company, known for delivering end-to-end engineering consultancy and project management services across the hydrocarbon value chain, is inviting applications from young and motivated engineering graduates seeking to build careers in India’s infrastructure and energy sectors.

Vacancies across four engineering disciplines

According to the short notice, a total of 59 Management Trainee positions will be filled across four branches:

• Mechanical Engineering: 24 posts
• Civil Engineering: 21 posts
• Chemical Engineering: 7 posts
• Electrical Engineering: 7 posts

Candidates must appear in GATE 2026 and qualify in the relevant paper code (ME, CE, CH, EE) to be considered for these roles.

The online application process will begin at 00:00 hours on March 20, 2026, and will remain open until 23:59 hours on April 13, 2026.

Eligible candidates are required to apply separately on the official EIL website (www.engineersindia.com) after appearing for GATE 2026. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.

Selection through GATE 2026

The recruitment will be conducted through GATE 2026 scores, with candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the national-level engineering entrance examination.
