CBSE cancels Class 10 board exams in Middle East, Class 12 exam on March 7 postponed; check official notice
CBSE board exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Class 10 board examinations scheduled in several Middle East countries and postponed the Class 12 examination that was set to take place on March 7, 2026. The decision was announced through an official notice which was issued yesterday, March 5, 2026.
The board also cancelled the following previously scheduled papers: March 2, 2026; March 3, 2026; March 5, 2026; March 6, 2026.
CBSE said that the mode of declaration of results for Class 10 students in the Middle East will be notified separately. Students and schools will receive further instructions later.
For Class 12 students, the board has postponed the examination scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026.
According to the official notice, CBSE has advised all Class 12 students and affiliated schools in the Middle East to stay in close contact with their schools and regularly check official announcements for updates regarding the new examination schedule.
Students and parents are advised to follow updates from CBSE and their respective schools for the latest information on revised exam dates and result announcements, according to the official notice.

Class 10 exams cancelled
The board also cancelled the following previously scheduled papers: March 2, 2026; March 3, 2026; March 5, 2026; March 6, 2026.
