Real-World Impact

1
High-Altitude Operations
Tested hybrid electric-diesel propulsion in 2025 for improved performance in Tibet and high-altitude regions where thin air affects engine output.
2
Anti-ATGM Defense
GL5/GL-XX active protection system intercepts incoming anti-tank guided missiles and RPGs, addressing lessons from modern conflicts.
3
Network-Centric Warfare
Integrated battlefield management system enables real-time data sharing between tanks and command, providing situational awareness across formations.
4
Counter-Drone Protection
Cope Cage' turret top armor additions in 2025 to counter FPV drones based on Ukraine conflict observations.
