Vijayawada: A suspected road accident in NTR district turned into a sensational murder case, with police uncovering a chilling conspiracy involving a woman, her alleged lover and accomplices. The victim, Vaditya Rajesh, a resident of Banavathu Thanda, married Alekhya after a love relationship. However, investigators revealed that Alekhya later developed an extramarital relationship with a man identified as Krishnasena. Police said they both allegedly conspired to eliminate Rajesh, claiming he was an obstacle to their relationship.
According to the police, the murder took place on April 21, 2026. Rajesh was allegedly made to consume alcohol before being attacked with an iron rod. He was later suffocated with a pillow, officials said. In an attempt to destroy evidence and mislead authorities, the accused reportedly placed the body inside a car and pushed it into the NSC canal, staging the incident as a road accident.
Initially, the case was treated as an accidental death. However, suspicions raised by Rajesh's family prompted a deeper probe. During the investigation, police identified inconsistencies and gathered crucial evidence, including clues linked to an alcohol bottle hologram, which helped unravel the sequence of events.
Following the breakthrough, police arrested four accused, including Alekhya and Krishnasena, for their alleged role in the murder.
