Jagan takes part in idol consecration ceremony at Nandeeswara temple at Vempalle
Tirupati: Former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy took part in the idol consecration ceremony and Kumbhabhishekam at the Nandeeswara Swamy temple at Nandipalli in Vempalle mandal of Kadapa district on Wednesday.Jagan arrived on a 3-day visit to his home constituency, Pulivendula, on Tuesday. He took part in the consecration ceremony at Nandipalli village on Wednesday, where the idols of Sri Maha Nandeeswara Swamy and Sri Parvathi Devi were consecrated amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns by the temple priests. Jagan also took part in a Homam organised by the priests at the Nandeeswara temple.

After taking part in the religious rituals, the former CM noted that temples are symbols of our culture and traditions, and that the path of devotion promotes peace and harmony in society. Jagan complimented temple committee chairman Maram Srikanth Reddy for successfully carrying out the temple consecration ceremony. Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy and others were present.
