APSRTC buses, said newly appointed vice chairman and manging director N Bala Subramanyam. The Senior IPS officer assumed charge at the RTC headquarters at the NTR administrative block on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Subramanyam emphasised the need to strengthen public transport through the introduction of new electric buses to the RTC fleet and by improving operational efficiency, ensuring the financial stability of the road transport corporation.

On the occasion, the chief further appealed to all officials to render their services diligently to strengthen APSRTC and provide better services to the public.
