Cleaner murders driver at Tirupati bus terminal

Vijayawada: In a shocking incident, a bus driver was allegedly murdered by a cleaner at a private bus complex in Chinthala, Tirupati, sparking panic among transport workers and locals.The victim was identified as Selvaraj alias Gopi, a native of Salem and driver with Manjunatha Travels. Police said the accused, Raja, a cleaner from Tadipatri, attacked him under unclear circumstances before fleeing the scene.Preliminary reports suggest the altercation may have escalated suddenly, though the motive remains unclear. Investigators are probing angles including personal disputes and workplace issues.Police rushed to the spot, secured the area, and shifted the body to RUIA Government Hospital for postmortem.
