One killed in clash in Ballia

Varanasi: One person as killed in a clash between two groups in Revati township under the same police station in Ballia district on Sunday evening.Around 8pm on Sunday, two groups led by Dhanji Turaha and Sunil Turaha had a dispute over setting up a vegetable shop. The clash soon turned violent and Dhanji was critically injured. He was taken to hospital where he was declared dead. The assailants fled the scene.ASP (South) Ballia Kripa Shankar on Monday said that teams were engaged to nab the accused after sending the body for postmortem. Dhanji's family has filed a complaint against Sunil and his accomplices. tnn
