Gorakhpur: Students of KIPM College of Engineering and Technology, GIDA, delivered an outstanding performance at the cyber security hackathon organised in collaboration with TCS on April 14.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from budding engineers, who showcased innovative solutions and technical acumen in the field of cybersecurity. The hackathon aimed to promote awareness and practical skills in emerging technologies, particularly in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Participants worked in teams to tackle real-world challenges, demonstrating problem-solving abilities and creativity under time constraints.
One of the teams from KIPM secured top position, earning a cash prize of Rs25,000 along with certificates and recognition from TCS officials.
The college authorities emphasised the importance of such industry-academia collaborations in preparing youth for future technological challenges. They noted that initiatives like these align with the broader vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” by fostering innovation, skill development and industry readiness among students.
