Mobile phone found in Trichy prison spl camp

Trichy: The authorities recovered a mobile phone during an inspection at the special camp for foreign nationals inside Trichy Central Prison on Sunday.A team carried out a check in the cells housing foreign nationals who are detained for visa violations, waiting for deportation, or those facing criminal cases. During the inspection, officials recovered an unclaimed smartphone in one of the cells. The KK Nagar police registered a case under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
