Pudukottai: There was a display of camaraderie between former AIADMK minister C Vijaya Baskar and incumbent TVK labour minister J Mohamed Farvaz on Saturday, as the two were seen pulling the chariot together during the Viralimalai Subramaniya Swamy Temple car festival. This come amid speculation over a possible switch by Vijaya Baskar to TVK.While the AIADMK’s Viralimalai MLA is yet to decide whether to remain in the party or resign and join TVK, the former minister and the current minister appeared to share a cordial rapport.Vijaya Baskar recently held a consultative meeting with his loyalists at his residence in Illupur, Pudukkottai district, to discuss his next course of action.Speaking to reporters on Friday, Vijaya Baskar said he had been attending marriage functions as it was the muhurtham season. He added that he had begun a thanksgiving tour from Friday to express gratitude to the people. “At the end of it, I will speak to the press. People’s decision is my decision,” he told reporters in Trichy after coming back from Chennai on Friday morning.
