Dist schools record stellar performance
T'puram: Announcement of CBSE Class XII examination results brought widespread cheer to the state capital, with schools across the district registering exceptional performances and several institutions achieving 100% pass results. The celebrations gained added significance as the Thiruvananthapuram CBSE region emerged as top-performing region in the country in terms of overall pass percentage.Several schools in the district continued their winning streak with impressive academic achievements, distinctions and top scores across Science, Commerce and Humanities streams. Dr GR Public School secured 100% success in the Class XII examinations. In science stream, Adithyan S S emerged topper with 94% marks, while Aswathi R S topped commerce stream with 88%. Joshua G J secured first position in humanities with 93%. At Shanthiniketan School, all 84 students who appeared for the examination passed successfully. Gowri Lakshmi M R and Devan V R Kurup jointly topped the school with 479 out of 500 marks. St Thomas Central School also registered 100% results. Of the 352 students who appeared for the examination, 223 secured distinctions, 119 obtained first class and 10 secured second class.At Saraswathi Vidyalaya, S R Seethalakshmi of humanities stream secured A1 grades in all subjects. Navjeevan Bethany Vidyalaya achieved 100% success with all 113 students clearing the examination. Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School too achieved 100% results. Of the 190 students who appeared, 142 secured distinctions while 48 obtained first class. Vishwaprakash Central School also recorded complete success in the examinations. Adithya Manoj topped science stream with 93.8%, while Sujin S J Angel secured highest marks in commerce with 82.4%.
