Thane police chief credits his team for successfully hosting MSPG

THANE: In a remarkable display of organizational prowess, the Thane police commissionerate has successfully conducted the 35th Maharashtra Police Games after a 12-year hiatus that concluded on Saturday.

Police commissioner Ashutosh Dumbre expressed profound appreciation for his force's dedication in executing this prestigious sporting event.

The games brought together around 3,000 police personnel from across Maharashtra to compete in various sporting disciplines. Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde presided over the inaugural ceremony, while chief minister Devendra Fadnavis graced the closing ceremony, highlighting the event's significance in the state's law enforcement calendar.

"My Thane police team has worked hard for the last two months, and I'm extremely obliged and proud to have the team with me," Commissioner Dumbre stated, acknowledging the extensive preparations that went into hosting the games.
